Americans, for example, have a blue letter. This is simply a list of equipment checked by the department and allowed for individual acquisition for soldiers. Green list – list of authorised products that will be allowed for usage in business

Soldiers are to be actively active in the equipment selection process
– This is something I frequently meet with, that a soldier has something of his own, but the commander may forbid usage due to the fact that it's not official. So if something is on the green list, it will be possible to usage it officially – says Paweł Mateńczuk.
According to MON, soldiers will be able to buy from this list of things, for example, for the alleged uniform, that is, the yearly financial equivalent paid for the uniform and another items of equipment. The thought of the fresh proposal is to make maximum usage of the cognition of soldiers, enthusiasts of the service, which will aid in selecting the right solutions. Soldiers are to be actively active in the process of selecting equipment.

– MON lists tested individual equipment, universal usage and innovative solutions. There's quite a few news at the MSPO. Spreading out the procedures we have, it's something we're starting to think about today, it's only going to soldiers in 1.5–2 years, due to the fact that these are procedures, cognitive tests, buying. And we know how fast things are changing, how the manufacture is moving. The fast process of putting this on the green list will make it possible to buy and usage it on a case-by-case basis," emphasises the national defence minister's typical for military service conditions.
The creation of the Green List will begin with the submissions of entrepreneurs curious in placing their products on it, on a peculiar portal. An expert group set up at the Ministry of Defence will direct selected products for investigating to investigation centres, where they will then be authorised. If it is completed positively, the product will be listed. Otherwise, feedback will be sent to the manufacturer, which needs improvement.

– The products on the Green List will be tested earlier according to the criteria indicated by the armed forces, so we are certain that they will be tested by expert groups in the Ministry. So this is simply a clue for soldiers and commanders, which can be purchased and is definitely checked – says Paweł Mateńczuk.
As he emphasizes, any maker will be able to enter the list.
– The Polish manufacture will be a priority, but we open the door to everyone.
