- We are preparing tools that will aid us end this fiction - announced Tomasz Siemoniak, head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration, during a press conference in Niemirów in Podlasie. He added that thanks to the efforts made by the government so far and the solutions implemented, the number of attempts to illegally cross the Polish-Belarusian border has importantly decreased. - We are halfway through the implementation of the investment in the barrier and where it has been sealed, we have not recorded any attempts to cross the border.
