The modern 13-storey Naval Academy building, which will supply comfortable accommodation and learning conditions for cadets, will shortly be commissioned. The facility is planned as a multi-purpose place, connecting teaching, recreational and bedroom spaces.
Architecture and location – symbolic dominant space around the Naval Academy building
The location of the fresh Naval Academy building at Śmidowicza Street is of immense symbolic importance. Glazed, nearly 50 metres tall, serving as an architectural dominant, it is located close the entrance to the war yard, which refers to the historical nature of the naval area in Gdynia.
The implementation of the project, initiated under the agreement concluded in July 2022, progresses rapidly, and The final finishing work is presently underway to be completed before the planned deadline – 30 March 2025.

The building space is designed for up to 200 cadetswho will live in 50 double rooms and 100 single rooms. Apart from surviving space, the building will supply extended teaching and recreational infrastructure. It includes, among others, a lecture hall, training rooms and recreation lounges.
In addition, the cadets were provided with kitchens with a dining area for 150 seats, as well as laundry and dryers. Modern equipment full meets academic requirements and provides comfort to users on a regular basis.

Modernity and comfort – last stages of task implementation
The building presently has the installation of equipment to complete the functionality of all the rooms. The completion of the task before the expected deadline is simply a real organizational success, given the scale and advanced design.
Thanks to liable management and efficient work, the staff and cadets of the Naval Academy will shortly be able to usage this space.
