As all year, on the anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising, a performance commemorating the heroes of 1944 was held in Piłsudski Square. Among the participants of this moving event were the outgoing president Andrzej Duda and President-elect Karol Nawrocki, who will take the oath and presume the highest office in the state by Wednesday.
