The Youth Word of the Year 2025: “Sponsor” triumphs, and “OKPA” conquers young net users

In the Jubilee, the 10th Plebiscite for the Youth Word of the Year 2025 prevailed the word “honor”, meaning spontaneous, energetic action. The finalists besides included "OKPA" – a creative language pop-up utilized to finish the conversation. This year's list shows that young people inactive combine the tradition of Polish language with new, innovative expressions, and youth slang is increasingly affecting everyday Polish.
