Missile revolution on Italian-French destroyers

OCCAR and the NAVIRIS and EUROSAM consortia signed an agreement for the main overhaul of French and Italian Horizonte/Orizzonte air defence destroyers. The work, valued at EUR 1.5 billion, will include modernisation of onboard air defence and electronic warfare systems. It is worth recalling that Italian destroyers of this kind supported the protection of the Polish sky.
