Rescue missions and NATO defense. Norway reaches for helicopters from the US arsenal

The U.S. State Department approved the possible sale of Norway to 9 HH-60W combat and rescue helicopters along with related equipment and logistical support. The full package was estimated at US$2.6 billion and went to US legislature via the DSCA Agency, which is the first step in the contract procedure.
