It turned out that public tv with its flagship programme “News” provided fresh topics each week, and the wave of hatred flowing from the screen exceeded all limits of decency. Polish tv under the regulation of Law and Justice divided society, jud, slender and spit poison, fueling social conflicts, attacking not only fierce opponents of power, but all who opposed it in anything. For the first time after 1989, public tv became the most vulgar and vulgar tool of propaganda and manipulation, and its employees became the function of PiS propaganda leaders. TVP was headed by a erstwhile writer's cameraman, and the brain of media operations sat at the office of PiS in Nowogrodzka, and it was from there that directives concerning the strategy and political communicative grown utilizing TVP were flowing. It's over today. With the change of power from authoritarian to democratic, this model of public media has been thrown into the dump of past and may he never return! It was essential to put TVP into liquidation in order to get free of propaganda and clear public media from written deposits, any inactive hiding in corners.
For 5 years, I've been tracking these mechanisms, mafia relationships, scanning the propaganda TVP program. The regular dose of hatred given in “News” frequently made me sick, and the disgust of “reporters” only increased my desire to fight for renewed and hateless public television. That was my thought over the years. I remained faithful to the ideals I took out of my work on TVP and I think it is inactive possible to clear it, even though it is difficult. 1 thing has surely changed: in the TVP's main news program (19.30) there is no hatred anymore, no hatred speech, no defamation, no dehumanization, no stigmatizing people due to race, nationality, sexual orientation, spiritual beliefs (or their lack) or due to political views. due to the fact that that's how democracy should be. If this has not been the case for the last 5 to 8 years, it is due to the fact that we have not lived in a full democratic state, although we have not all realized it. The proof of the authoritarian regulation of PiS was, among others, propaganda-government activities of TVP. Idiotisms about TVP pluralism spoken by its erstwhile head Jack Kurski and penalties imposed on independent media by ‘talib’, head of KRRiT Maciej Świrski, are nails to the coffin of communicative dishonoring the good name of journalism and media in Poland. specified people – organization officials – should never again be in charge of the media or the institution controlling them.
My mission to describe the “Heiter” reality of TVP is over. The consequence is, among others, a late published book “Heitem in Eyes”. This does not mean that the process of repairing public media has come to an end; it has barely begun. The request for profound changes, the independency of public media from politicians, the removal (up to the last) of pseudojournalists compromised with propaganda for the Law and Justice, the request for competitions for executive and journalistic positions, the slimming of the "Byzantine" empire; the request for materiality and objectivity, and in the longer term, for the liquidation or complete prioritization of the National Broadcasting Council. A fresh media bill was to be discussed in the Sejm in May – where did it go missing and why is it inactive missing? Maciej Świrski is to stand before the Court of State, but erstwhile will this be and who will replace Minister Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz in the fight for fresh media? And most importantly, what is the form of public media (management, funding, programme, etc.) in the future? There are many questions, and there are inactive no answers.
