Currently, people holding advanced positions in the country bear the cost of PLN 50.55 per square metre of renting premises belonging to the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. The fresh regulation would exempt ministers and deputy prime ministers from this obligation, including them among politicians and officials who already usage housing paid by the state budget, including the President, Prime Minister, Members and Senators. According to the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, extending the list of persons who can usage free housing is justified erstwhile comparing the privileges of another constitutional bodies. The current 2002 Regulation allows advanced public officials to usage business premises but requires them to pay rent.
