Health Minister Jolanta Sobieranska-Grenda stressed at the conference on Thursday that vaccines taken from Pfizer against COVID-19 would be disposed of.
The Brussels Court ruled on Wednesday that the evidence submitted to it did not let the uncovering of irregularities
in the procurement process to Pfizer.
According to the court judgment, Poland must collect the remaining doses of the vaccine and pay PLN 5 billion 644 million.
– This PLN 6 billion is 64 million doses of vaccine, which we will be obliged to collect and which will be utilized.
This PLN 6 billion for us is the yearly cost of drugs for oncology patients, is the yearly cost of training residents. For us, six times more CT scans, 3 times more magnetic resonance imaging," stressed the Minister of Health.
