Karolina Romanowska, chairwoman of the Polish-Ukrainian Reconciliation Association, received approval from the Ukrainian side to search for and exhume victims of the Volhynian massacre in Ugła in Ukraine. Members of her household besides died there. Romanowska announced on X that the work "is initially planned for May of this year". Her post was shared by the head of diplomacy, Radosław Sikorski, who wrote that it was "finally good news".
