“Zelensky must have been aware of what he was doing, due to the fact that the Volhynia wound is inactive an open wound,” stated Agnieszka Jędrzak, a minister in the President’s Office overseeing the Office of Decorations and Appointments, defending the decision to revoke the Order of the White Eagle from the president of Ukraine. She called the return of the decoration by courier “an effort to humiliate Poland.”
