Minister Bodnar: active remorse will not be implemented against alleged neo-judges

Minister of Justice Adam Bodnar said on October 17, 2024, that the Venice Commission recommended that Poland "meet halfway" on the issue of alleged neo-judges. According to him, the fresh National Council of the Judiciary should be liable for assessing circumstantial groups of judges, which - in his opinion - will be possible after the presidential elections and its establishment, i.e. in 2026.
