With the beginning of September, the second installment ended Government Programme Fuel Prices Lower. It returned to the standard VAT rate and no maximum prices, resulting in an increase in fuel prices at petrol stations.
Energy Minister Miłosz Motyka was asked in the program "Graffiti" about what will happen if the intellectual limit is exceeded, the fuel will cost PLN 9 and diesel will cost PLN 10? - Fuel is already costly - the minister replied.
When asked if the government was considering preparing further programs that would aid Poles cope with the increases, Motyka replied: - The much bigger problem is that the finished product is even more costly than oil on the planet markets. The price of the finished product is the largest in history, due to the fact that this is the largest global crisis in terms of oil," said the minister.
