We have identified the "shocking waste" of state funds, including $32 million for the "operation of left-wing propaganda" in Moldova," said US president Donald Trump in a message before the combined chambers of legislature on Tuesday.
Trump suggested that thanks to billionaire Elon Musk and his alleged Government Performance Division (DOGE) he was able to find what the U.S. wasted billions of dollars on.
In this context, he listed a number of aid schemes, among another things, "$8 million to advance LGBTQI+ in the African state of Lesotho, which no 1 has always heard of" and "$32 million for left-wing propaganda in Moldova".
