The erstwhile Prime Minister and the current commentator of Polish political reality sharply summed up the behaviour of the coalition on October 15 during the first message of Karol Nawrocki as the fresh president of Poland. "They shared equally as at the school academy, with mines that spoke more than a 1000 words," Miller wrote. "And no 1 – absolutely no of the present notes – made a motion of opposition" commented on the atmosphere in the Sejm during the Wednesday ceremony.
On Wednesday, August 6, after 10:00 p.m. Karol Nawrocki assumed office of president of the Republic of Poland after oath received by the National Assembly. Shortly after the oath, the fresh president gave his first message, in which he sought to unite on the 1 hand, and, on the another hand, reprimanded the current government.
The erstwhile Prime Minister, and now retired politician and commentator, Leszek Miller, who spared no bitter words about the government – others who had previously expressed a akin speech about the coalition on October 15. This, and the deficiency of reaction of the politicians of the ruling formations of Poland, Miller pointed out the most.
"Cream de la cream of coalition 15 X appeared crowdedly at the swearing-in of Karol Nawrocki, although no 1 forced them to participate in this scandalous spectacle. On the contrary, Karol Nawrocki flogged them with a rhetorical bar, flaunting mistakes, accusing them of weakness, setting the government as the ‘assisted unit of the president’, subordinate and dependent. And no 1 – absolutely no of the present notes – has made a motion of opposition, has taken up polemics, even a shadow of doubt," stressed erstwhile SLD politicians. He added that they "were silent of their own accord."
Miller pointed out that the wave of criticism came to Nawrocki only after all, but “later moaning in the media and cabinets did not substance anymore – the theatre was held, the cameras recorded everything. The humiliation was accepted. By choice.’
