Poland has submitted an authoritative application to the European Commission for backing from the EU SAFE programme. Poland is seeking EUR 43.7 billion (about PLN 190 billion) of support. If the evaluation process takes place without delay, the first tranches of funds can go to the country in the first 4th of next year.
