The buffer region at the Polish-Belarusian border was introduced on 13 June 2024. Since then, it has been extended respective times, due to the fact that in the assessment of the Ministry of Home Affairs and Administration the migration pressure, artificially created by the Belarusian authorities as part of hybrid actions aimed at destabilising Poland and another associate States of the European Union, has continued. **The fresh regulation, which extended the region to another 90, entered into force on Sunday, June 8**.
