MiG-29 damaged roofs in Madness

"On Wednesday, 20 June 2024, an air event involving MiG-29 aircraft occurred close the village of Szaleniec in Malborski County. Before 10:00 a.m., during a school flight on the MiG-29 aircraft from the 22nd Tactical Air Base, there was an overspeed during the flight at about 1000 feet. The impact of the sound wave caused harm to roof coverings in respective buildings. In accordance with the applicable procedures, further activities are carried out by the Military Police Station in Malbork and the Air Aviation Accident Investigation Commission. We inform, at the same time, that the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland will pay all costs associated with repairing damaged buildings by maintaining the highest care to reconstruct the condition before the event" - DGRSZ assured.
