"Putin seeks to announce a triumph for peculiar operations this year, possibly after winning the elections. He's got almost all of east Ukraine, he can announce a cease-fire. The planet will breathe, the war will end. So Ukraine will gotta halt fighting too. This is simply a terrible script for Kiev," says General Waldemar Skrzypczak.
