W The Świętszows were intensively trained by podchorze from the Wroclaw Academy of Land Forces and cadets of the French military school. The officers came, supported by US instructors, trained, among others, fighting in trenches, drone and anti-drone techniques, and platoon command procedures in various tactical situations.

International exercises with guests from France are the consequence of cooperation between The Academy of Land Forces A French military school at the Saint-Cyr Military Academy in Brittany. 30 guests from the Seine were trained at the tactical strip of Trzebień at the Świętszów camp together with Polish soldiers from the general infantry platoon and platoon of defence against weapons of mass destruction.

All under the supervision of an global group of instructors: Polish AWL officers, visitors from France, as well as American soldiers from the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, who are stationed in Świętoszów. – All of us were divided into 2 groups: blue and red, while the groups were Polish-French, so as to guarantee the exchange of experience and cooperation between uniforms from both countries – explains Colonel Tomasz Szulc from the AWL Command Department. He explains that 1 of the groups was tasked with offensive actions, attacking enemy positions, storming trenches utilizing unmanned weapons systems and laser firing simulator.

– We added a chemical episode to it, so there was a contamination. In turn, the second group had to defend themselves utilizing the trench strategy and for them we besides predicted additional episodes, specified as permeation, rallying and aerial reconnaissance utilizing unmanned weapons systems," said Colonel Szulc.

The officer emphasizes that specified global training has invaluable value for the subjects. They let you to establish contacts, exchange experiences, familiarize yourself with procedures, techniques and equipment utilized in another armies. – Guests from France, for example, did not usage the strategy LSS (Laser Shooting Simulator), whose Polish website uses regularly. For them, this is simply a novelty, from where they first trained from its usage – says the officer.

In turn, he adds, our subjects could, for example, look at French fighting procedures in trenches and command rules. – We operate on the basis of Polish and American procedures, which our guests in turn met. The exchange of experiences between practitioners was an crucial added value for each nation, says Colonel Szulc.

He adds that instructors have been selected to let joint cooperation as much as possible. "So it happened that, for example, Poles were led by an American teacher and French Poles. After the training was completed, we conducted the alleged after action review, alleged after action review, and thus a discussion of all joint exercises, during which all participants of the training appreciated the engagement of students and cadets and expressed their desire to proceed cooperation in the future, the officer concludes.

International exercises of infantry men lasted a week. Then, as part of the cooperation and invitation by the French university, the AWL students will leave for the exercises in French Guiana.
