Club president Mr. Patrick Natkaniec said: Ladies and gentlemen, We are gathered together tonight to pay tribute to Barbara Skrzypek and to express our concern about the situation in the Polish judiciary. Our presence here is proof of solidarity and determination to defend the independency of the courts, which are the foundations of a democratic state. Mrs Barbara Skrzypek, whose memory present we pay tribute to, was a symbol of integrity and devotion in her work. Without specified people and their sacrifices, it would not be possible to build a just society. It is so very crucial that we do not let the rules on which our legal strategy is based to be undermined and destroyed.
