Michalik: By letting Kaczyński, Mentzen and others go, we grow ourselves a brown dictatorship

Kaczyński's attack on Roman Giertych can be considered on 2 levels. The first, lighter is humorous, which has been lacking in Polish politics for besides long. However, this does not change the fact that on all another level this issue is not trivial.


The very combination in 1 image of Giertych with the president of the PiS is funny, due to their difference in stature and height. In addition, Kaczyński, who waved his hands, with madness in his eyes, was a comic contrast to Giertych's distanced dandy intelligently and accurately inserting his pins.

I admit, I even made a video about it on my YouTube: Gierty made me a day. However, this does not change the fact that on all another level this issue is not trivial.

Firstly, and this is not ironic, Kaczyński seems increasingly unstable emotionally. Seeing him attacking Giertych erstwhile again, I regretted that there were no compulsory yearly psychiatric examinations and drug tests for MPs in Poland.

You can see with the bare eye that the president of the Law and Justice should go to at least anger control therapy. The fact that Giertych reacted to his assault in cold blood does not change the fact that it was scandalous should not have happened. I – she should be punished due to the fact that she was not just a quarrel, but she besides seems to have a legal and criminal dimension.

It is right for Giertych to request the prosecutor to open a public investigation into Kaczyński's repeated threats, insults and defamations.

The "murderer" and "slut" shouted by Kaczyński and respective another PiS MPs from the parliament are nothing compared to what Kaczyński later said about him in interviews.

Well, according to the president of PiS Gierty, he committed a coup and for this he deserves the "highest punishment" – that is, presently in Poland for 25 years in prison. However, according to Kaczyński Gierty, he is specified a large criminal that 25 years is not enough, so the title of the "war exception" should be executed on the counselor's death sentence...(??)

Let me put it plainly – specified words from an influential politician, the head of a large political party, are incitement to execution and apparent hatred speech.

The president of the Law and Justice Office seemingly dreams of political murders and death sentences given to people who have the nerve to disagree with him. I just add that Kaczyński would besides send prosecutor Ewa Wrzosek, who is investigating the "Two Towers" and many another people he considers to be opponents of the Law and Justices.

I already hear symmetrical voices justifying Kaczyński, but unlike them, I believe that the Polish prosecutor, who – I remind you – can launch an investigation on this substance of his own accord – disregard the policy that threatens his opponents with political death.

Just as we cannot ignore what Mentzen says and what violates Polish law in many dimensions.

Sitting quietly in front of specified a language will dare Kaczyński and PiS even more, and these people no longer set their words and behaviours any limits.

Besides, there is simply a real anticipation that due to the disastrous passiveness of the Democratic coalition, which failed to settle the PiS criminals and did not delegalize this organization for breaking the law – the Law and Justice organization together with the Confederate will win the next parliamentary elections and form a government.

And then Kaczyński will turn out to be a cruel dictator from a ridiculously jumping and shouting threats and insults. The populists around the planet are radicalizing and fascisming and Kaczyński and PiS are no exception. These people were always walking on dead bodies to the goal – virtually and figuratively.

It can besides be as I wrote the commentator "Adam" on X, that the attack by Jarosław Kaczyński on Roman Giertych is thought out by the writers of the movement, whose aim is to make him the main face of the PO in time for the election, which in fact for many voters of this organization might not be digestible. Manipulation and lying are the only methods known to Kaczyński to win elections.

Therefore, it is time to stop, as many media do, to look at and comment on the things Kaczyński says from a shallow infantile position and to wonder whether he "really" thinks or not, and to start talking about them from a legal and criminal position and from a public safety point of view.
