Sławomir Mentzen On Twitter, he reported that his Instagram account had been deleted:
Meta just deleted my Instagram account. little than 30 days before the election. In the mediate of an election campaign. I had 340,000 followers there, fundamentally as much as Donald Tusk and president Andrzej Duda. Of the politicians, only Rafał Trzaskowski had clearly more followers than us.
What did I lose my account for? Of course, it is not known that Meta did not even give a reason, she did not indicate the content that she felt was against the rules. The only message suggested that I made available dangerous content specified as supporting force (?), terrorist attack (?) or supporting criminal activity specified as trafficking in human beings (????!!!).
My account has been suspended respective times in fresh days, but after verification I was recovering. After the last suspension, I only managed to put a movie with a monument to Krzysztof Jarzyna from Szczecin, which I presented as the head of all bosses. possibly that's what Meta found supporting criminal activity. I don't know.
It's very hard to believe that the removal of my account had no political reasons. Someone's been in quite a few pain due to the fact that my content is generating quite a few scope and reaching out to young people.
The closer the elections get, the more violent the strategy is. In the first half of 2023, TVP made 250 hours of airtime available to PiS politicians. Confederates 0 seconds. Now Meta joined TVP, taking care that voters wouldn't know besides much about the Confederacy. On the same squad are besides companies belonging to local governments, who refuse to rent us halls for meetings in voters, and erstwhile they even sign a contract, as late in Poznań, then they illegally retreat from it. And all of this, of course, in a spirit of tolerance, democracy and freedom of speech.
It cannot be that third-party political forces can talk freely, meet with voters, share their content. This would be a threat to democracy and freedom of speech, to free and fair elections where all political forces are treated equally.
Interestingly, Meta tolerates that my image in fresh weeks has been massively exploited by various scammers in their advertising campaigns. Meta has no problem taking money from fraudsters who, utilizing paid ads, with the graphics on which I am arrested, make traffic on their websites. At the same time, Meta has a problem with me keeping my IG account under the rules.
As always in specified a situation, there will appear in comments quite a few unwise people who find that the marketplace has verified, a private company can do whatever it wants, etc. Oh, no. The free marketplace is that entities may conclude agreements without State interference. But erstwhile 1 of the parties breaks specified a deal, I can, of course, go to court. IG has its rules of procedure, which I followed. The Meta has no right to violate its rules of procedure, which she proposed, and which I agreed to.
Regardless of any further harassment, attacks, attempts at censorship and obstruction of our activities, I will proceed to insist that there is yet hope that we can turn this table over, end this alliance of government, state companies and large global corporations, bound against average people. There's little than 30 days left until the election. It's all in your hands!
