Euro MP removed from the right-wing party. Reason: visit to Moscow

A MEP from Luxembourg Fernand Kartheiser, who visited Moscow last week, was removed from the Group of European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) in the European Parliament. The politician had previously been identified as an opponent of sanctions packages imposed on Russia, which brutally attacked Ukraine.
