MEP expelled from right-wing party. Reason: visit to Moscow

Luxembourg MEP Fernand Kartheiser, who visited Moscow last week, has been expelled from the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) group in the European Parliament. The politician had previously made himself known as an opponent of sanctions packages imposed on Russia, which brutally attacked Ukraine.
