Prime Minister Donald Tusk's speech in the Sejm met with harsh criticism from the Confederacy. The Deputy talker of the Sejm and the leader of the group, Krzysztof Bosak, called them "a rebellious rhetoric without specifics". The Confederacy announced that it would vote against a vote of assurance for the Coalition government on October 15. Sławomir Mentzen, another leading Confederate politician, went 1 step further, claiming that "in Poland's interest is the fast collapse of this government".
