U.S. president Donald Trump's wife, Melania Trump, chaired the UN safety Council meeting. This is the first case in history. The American First Lady's speech was devoted, among others, to protecting children in armed conflicts, which Iran's typical considered hypocritical – Tehran accuses the US and Israel of bombing primary school and killing more than 160 girls and teachers.
