Photo by Luke Meeza FacebookThe Sejm's ethics committee decided to punish PiS MP Łukasz Mejaza with a reprimand for the behaviour he committed at the restaurant in the fresh home of Members towards Wadim Tyszkiewicz. The legislature marshal asked for specified a decision.
The incidental occurred this spring. Ewa Schädler from Poland 2050 claimed that MP Mezza and his kid on hand approached the Swedish table where he met Senator Tyszkiewicz with his spouse.
Schädler confessed that Meyza "was vulgarly referring to the senator and his wife", although she did not want to quote exact words. However, she pointed out that these were the terms "from the frontier of ageism and sexism".
Regret for Mezza
Today, it turned out that the associate was punished with the highest possible punishment, or reprimand for his behaviour. Schädler added that the motion to punish Mezza was made by Marshal of the legislature of Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska.
According to the Rules of Procedure, the committee may punish the associate with a remark, a reminder or a reprimand. Members shall be entitled to appeal against decisions of the ethics committee within 14 days of the date of notification of the punishment resolution. The scope of the Ethics Committee's action includes, among another things, the consideration of Members "who behave in a manner that does not correspond to the dignity of the Member".
