Karol Nawrocki undertook to care for Jerzy Z. for life - said Interia portal on Friday. As reported, Nawrocki assured in writing that he would lay down for the maintenance of Mr. George, and after his death he would take care of the funeral.

"The paper to which Interia reached, sheds fresh light on Karol Nawrocki's relation with Jerzy Ż. Politician, who is applying for the highest office in the state, undertook in writing to care for an aged man for life. However, as he himself admitted, e.g. in a conversation with Bogdan Rymanowski, he had no contact with Jerzy Z. since last year" - we read.

Letter with Nawrocki signature

The letter to which Interia reached dates from 10 August 2021.

"I, the undersigned Karol Nawrocki, declare that I have committed myself to keeping Jerzy Z. for life by providing him with food, clothes, flats located in Gdańsk at ul. (...), light and fuel, providing adequate assistance and care in sickness and making his own ceremony at the expense of local customs" - quotes Interia the first part of the letter.

"I, the undersigned Jerzy Z. declare that Karol Nawrocki fulfils the work described in item I above" - is the second part of the document.

As Interia points out, there are 2 handwritten signatures under the paper - Karol Nawrocki and Jerzy Zz.

Moving to Warsaw

The portal reminds that on 23 July 2021 Nawrocki made a vow before the Sejm, assuming the position of president of the Institute of National Memory - respective days before signing a paper published by Interia.

"The same in summertime 2021 moved from Gdańsk to Warsaw. As a consequence of the start of fresh work, it became clear that Nawrocki would visit Gdansk little often. Therefore, the care of Mr Jerzy, to which the historian committed himself in writing, became problematic" - said Interia.
