Media Markt sold to a Chinese company. What about German household appliances?

The German group Ceconomy AG, the owner of over 1,000 Media Markt and Saturn stores in Europe, was bought by JD.com for €2.2 billion. Thus, the Chinese giant e-commerce took over the infrastructure that would facilitate entry into the European market. Is this the beginning of the end of German brands of household appliances and consumer electronics?
