Mateusz Morawiecki emphasized that during the regulation of Tusk Poles did not receive any credit holidays or reduced VAT on food. The government besides did not introduce any protective packages that would make it easier for Poles to be on a regular basis and to prepare for Christmas. Deputy Head of Law and Justice has indicated that prices in popular food markets are about 30% higher than in the erstwhile year, while the government says they are only 506% higher.
The erstwhile Prime Minister besides pointed out the possible risks associated with the win of Rafał Trzaskowski in the presidential election: “Imagine that this Prime Minister inactive has a footstool – his president, who will politely sign everything for him (...). Who can punch the table, control this government, who can effectively look at the hands of this government? Only an independent president can and will be able to claim average people, their wallets. Only Karol Nawrocki can be specified a president.”
