Mateusz Morawiecki resigned from the leadership of the European Conservatives and Reformers faction

Mateusz Morawiecki resigned from the position of president of the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) in the European Parliament. Piotr Mueller stated on X that this is related to the exclusion of the erstwhile prime minister from Law and Justice. The PiS spokesperson announced that Jarosław Kaczyński will urge a fresh candidate for this position.
