Matecki, wants the equivalent of ICE to be created in Poland

On Saturday, during protests in Minneapolis against the actions of national immigration services (ICE) there was a fatal shooting of 37-year-old caregiver Alex Pretti by officers. The U.S. authorities say a weapon was utilized in self-defense, but witness reports and available video footage deny it. The event, which creates widespread emotions besides in Poland, took place during ongoing demonstrations.

The available films show that the agent spotted a weapon on Pretti, after which the man was turned to the ground, stripped of the weapon and turned a series of shots toward him — about 10 of them, which will be confirmed by expert studies.

Representatives of the ICE and the Department of Homeland safety (DHS) study that Pretti posed a threat to the officers and so shots were fired. Secretary DHS Kristi Noem described a 37-year-old as the perpetrator of a possible “act of terrorism”, although further publicized recordings do not support these claims, and the material shows that the weapon was taken from Pretti before any shots were fired. Minneapolis police indicated that Pretti legally owned a weapon and was not listed in criminal records.

Matecki and Tarczyński support ICE

PiS MP Dominik Tarczyński commented on the actions of the American ICE agency a fewer days ago, publishing an entry in support of their actions following the death of Alex Pretti, which was met with criticism from any Polish politicians and journalists. Among the votes against were Adrian Zandberg, Aleksandra Owec, Roman Giertych, Krzysztof Stanowski and Robert Mazurek. The words of Dominik Tarczyński besides met with criticism from any PiS politicians, including Janusz Cieszynski, who considered his entry to be undefended.

In turn, PiS MP Dariusz Matecki published his own entry, in which he expressed full support for Tarczyński and stressed that no 1 has the right to impose on him what to think about another people. Matecki besides stated that Poland should strive to make its own formation akin to the American ICE.

In his post, he proposed changes to the Polish migration policy, including unilateral denunciation of the Migration Pact, restrictions on legal immigration from third-world countries, and the granting of full right to usage arms at borders to the military and Border Guard. He besides suggested that NGOs supporting illegal migration be treated as terrorist organizations.
