Senator Krzysztof Kwiatkowski announces an "express" change in the Rail Transport Act. The amendment is intended to aid restart the construction of an underground tunnel close Łódź. Its drilling stopped in September 2024 after the collapse of 1 of the tenement houses. From that minute on, more than 250 people who live in rented premises and hotels cannot return to their homes.
