Appeal to Poles in the United States
Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced that he asked abroad Minister Radosław Sikorski to prepare Polish consulates in the United States for possible deportations of Poles from the USA, in consequence to announcements of president Donald Trump.
Shortly after that, the head of Polish diplomacy referred to the case, informing that people with expired passports were asked to renew them. He pointed out that additional consular posts would be organised in the US, besides outside the consulate headquarters. Threatened by numbers deportation

Trump Regulation
On Monday, immediately after his swearing in, Donald Trump signed a number of regulations and documents, including declaring a state of emergency on the Mexican border and making changes to the applicable land law that enabled American citizenship to be acquired by birth in the United States. Under the fresh rules, this law will not cover children of illegal immigrants and people residing in the US for a short period of time, including, for example, a visa-free programme.
