I predicted we wouldn't be bored this summer. And this was not due to any peculiar professional ability, but to a cool analysis and interpolation of the effects of political events for the following weeks. It's happening, oh, it's happening. And the coming autumn can be even more dynamic, both in the country and its closer and further surroundings.
On 1 August, as for many years, we celebrated the next anniversary of 1 of the top tragedies in the past of the nation, namely the annihilation of Warsaw and over 200,000 inhabitants. Warsaw, i.e. the largest (along with Lviv, Vilnius and Krakow) Polish centre in the reborn II Rzeczpospolita. That's why after the war we only had Kraków. The reflection from this "celebratory" is that there is inactive no space and most likely no intellectual courage to have a cool, logical and factual discussion, and in effect an analysis, the causes (the real ones), the course (the real one) and the effects (the real ones) of this next national insurrection. Everything or almost everything has been said, so I will not make this subject, all the more so that I do not want to argue with emotions and hysterical emotions again. All I can say is, “Glory to the heroes and disgrace to the traitors!”
At the same time, a bit earlier it fell on the rape field in Tarnawa-Kologonia (the Biligorian region) a "missile" as a Russian rocket was immediately announced. This event fits perfectly into Marxian dialectics, which Czesław Miłosz wrote about in “The Enslaved Mind” – this passage connecting Marxist, bubble, petrol station and fire. For a fewer weeks before this “assisting in our security” event, national propaganda, following the propaganda of the warring south-eastern neighbour, warned us against the anticipation of provocation in the Polish territory. Well, well, well. Given the earlier akin events, i.e. tragic in Przewowo (15.11.2022, 2 Poles were killed) and another, somewhat grotesque: the "lost" rocket under Bydgoszcz (16.12.2022) and the Styrofoam drones – decoys (9-10.09.2025) it is hard to take seriously these foolish, even thrombin statements of our beloved leaders, additionally delivered with a mars face – just like the il Duce during a speech from the balcony in Venice (I urge uncovering the recording of this speech).
Grotesque and lie levels one more time pierced the propaganda bottom. The only thing that may be amazing – although I must admit little and little – is the reaction of a large part of the urban "intelligence", which equally grotesquely tries to justify and rationalize this gross incompetence and inability of the rulers. They should know from past lessons, and the autopsy elders, that the effort to charm reality always has short legs and ends in spectacular embarrassment. And the strategy of managing fear, which I believe is encouraged by the successful CV19 experiment, which is so caricatured, evokes celebrated sayings (some say Marx others say Hegel) that “history repeats twice: first as a tragedy, then as a farce”. So what's left? I guess you're just wondering about the destiny of our unfortunate country.
