This year's March began a prayer crusade in the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy in Suwałki "about the miracle of fertility, many and sacred priestly and spiritual vocations, sacramental marriages, and the reward for sins against life." The march was accompanied by the figure of Our woman of Gietrzwałdzka, whose inhabitants of Suwałk entrust their families and parishes.
The march ran under the slogan “The Future of Children in Our Hands” which emphasizes the function and work of adults for raising young generations.
The participants of the event received a peculiar letter from the president of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, in which he greeted the people and expressed his gratitude for the organisation of the March and his support for his ideas.
‘This year's slogan March – «The future of children in our hands» takes on a peculiar pronunciation. In fresh weeks, many Polish parents have fulfilled their moral work and the right to choose the content of their children's education. That is why it is worth to say that the future of children is in our hands – parents. We did not entrust her to curators, ministries, or even the most caring educators. We want to decide how to rise our children, and we will do so – in accordance with the law guaranteed to us in the Constitution and regardless of criticism from the ruling and mainstream media"- stressed the president in his letter.
The letter was read on behalf of the president by his advisor, Minister Beata Kemp. She thanked the organizers and participants of the March for Life and Family, as well as the Ordo Iuris Institute for its commitment to defending the values of life and family.
