Marina Militare was enriched by the first “full-blooded” patrolman

On 2 October at Fincantieri shipyard in Muggiano (Liguria), a flag-lifting ceremony was held on a multi-purpose marine patrolman Giovanni delle Bande Nere (P 434). It is the 4th of the series, but the first units of the PPA kind (Pattugliatore Polivalente d’Altura) completed in the "Full" version, thus having the most extended set of weapons and electronic equipment.
