Marek Baterowicz about the erstwhile book by Prof. Andrzej Zybertowicz
date:July 02, 2026 Editor: GKut

From far away, you can see better...

erstwhile Prof. Andrzej Zybertowicz visited the antipodes together with the book “In the embrace of secret services” published at the time (Warsaw, Ancient of 1993) we were shocked after the removal of the government of the patron Jan Olszewski, which was later seen in the dramatic movie “Night Change”. I besides returned to Australia shocked, seeing that we had been demolished the chances of building a Polish state, after an crucial cleansing of the “elite” from the Peerelian TW, which proposed a draft of mirrors and decommunization presented by Minister Antoni Macierewicz. The subject of L and D (viewing and decommunisation) so returns in the book respective times, the author besides precisely defines the post-communist strategy as the core of the links and the kind of virus, whose existence within the social organism unfortunately promotes the spread of further diseases and prevents effective fight against them (p.9). We see the large value of this definition and today, erstwhile the 3rd Republic's distribution took on monstrous sizes, with the fact that it could be discussed whether the state's dissolution would be possible without the EU's “care” over the coalition (and de facto mafia) of Tusk. However, it seems certain that this coalition alone would not be able to lead to the catastrophe of the 3rd Republic without the participation of EU protectors. And Andrzej Stara, quoted by Zybertowicz (vide p.13/14), spoke of the function of mafia in history, who rightly regarded these opinions as more meaningful than Michnik's tirade directed against conspiracy explanation of history. In fact, plots have always been a motor of history, which can be traced from antiquity to the subtle intrigues of Cardinal de Richelieu entrenched in the silence of his cabinet. And closer to us – weren't the PZPR games at the circular table? Or a certain operation carried out under the alleged Michnik Commission between 12 April and 27 June 1990 at the Home Office? It has just been 36 years since its secret activities in the most secret archives of the Ministry of abroad Affairs, and are you certain it was only made at the individual request of Minister of National Education Henryk Samsonowicz? This “commission”, in addition to Michnik’s “supervisor”, included professors of past Andrzej Ajnenkel and Jerzy Holzer and manager of the Archive of fresh Acts, Bogdan Kroll! We besides know that 1 of these gentlemen was listed as a TW... But which one? Anyway, the mess was extraordinary due to the fact that no legal basis was found for the operation of the Commission. The Commission has besides left only 2 pages of the study and...a list of archive materials and a request for retraining any papers (!) – although it spent almost 3 months there, it is simply a large consternation. What kind of lobby supported her anyway? Of course, it was established in the interests of peers, reluctant ideas of mirrors. Its composition makes you think, the author quotes the words of Macerewicz here: “Members of the committee, representing a very circumstantial political option, had access to archives beyond all procedures” (p.66). That's right. So what forces were officially controlled by politicians from the 3rd Republic? And if Michnik’s “people” could enter the area of the MMA and search there for so many weeks, it means that the 3rd Polish-born turned secretly towards the PRL, erstwhile TW agents were allowed into the MMA archive! However, due to the fact that people from opposition to the Polish People's Republic did not get approval for specified an inspection, and why could they not look at the files of politicians specified as Macierewicz, in the company of historians of another option, specified as Prof. Andrzej Nowak or Prof. Wojciech Roszkowski? That's right, but after 1989, the patriots were inactive in the wind.

This comparison itself tells us that after 1989 the parties and agents with the full perfidy watched over their “do business” in the Ministry of the Interior, and until present we are ruled by unillustrated peers, as convinced by the catastrophe of the 3rd Republic of Poland after December 2023, and especially the amused face of the Black One, who draws strings not only in the Seym...So it is worth reading so perceptive and cleverly written books today, I anticipate that the country's natives will find a copy of this 1 in the antique shops or another Gutenberg's shrines. Prof. Zybertowicz, of course, analyses many aspects of this “transformation” in it, which has so distorted Poland and has immersed it in scandals and corruption. He besides mentions Michnik’s “making” more widely, who was not only 1 of the constructors of the circular table trap, but besides in the autumn of ‘89 participated in tv (partly arranged) discussions with Alexander Kwasniewski, promoting him and giving him the reputation of an enlightened apparatusist. And in the spring of ‘90 the same Michnik powerfully opposes in the Sejm the ideas of nationalizing the assets of the PZPR, criticizing any attempts to disclose agents. In the country and abroad, he promotes Jaruzelski as another enlightened communist (!) and an opponent-gentleman, yet fraternizes with him. A steadfast, erstwhile driven out of prison by force, Michnik feels better in the company of Urban than among many of his old colleagues from the underground.” ( vide po. cit. p.67).

It turns out that Michnik played (and inactive watches!) a very bad function in the past of the 3rd Republic of Poland, and you can add defamation of our past in the pages of “Gazeta Wyborcza” , corrupting the regulation of law (when he intervened in the court investigating the murders in the mine “Uncle”) or the participation of his paper in the overthrow of the Olszewski government – and that is not all. In fact, the regulation of law was never in the Polish People's Republic, and rehearsals of its restaurant in the 3rd Republic ended in failure. For example, the author gives scandalous manipulations of the prosecutor's office about the execution of Grzegorz Przemik or in the investigation of fatal shootings during the demonstration in August ‘82 in Lubin, where 3 people died (vide p.77). The collapse of laws and the flood of corruption are the main problems in the 3rd Poland, Prof. Andrzej Zybertowicz of Toruń warned them before becoming an advisor to 3 successive presidents of Poland – Lech Kaczyński, Andrzej Duda and now Karol Nawrocki. Thus, Copernicus became the crown of Polish political thought, and is already a metropolis of spirituality and religion thanks to the mission of Fr Tadeusz Rydzyk and Radio Maryja, giving way only to the sanctuary on Jasna Góra, but besides to the National Memorial Park, where the testimonies of those Poles, who frequently died for saving Jews, were collected. Indeed, Poles are a nation of “heroic virtues” as we were called on antipodes, and it was not a discrimination for the common conflict at Tobruk, but for the attitude in the years of the Holocaust, only slandered by hostile and evil people.

Finishing this short text on prof. Zybertowicz's superb book in 1993, I want for the fruitful search of his work, which was cited here, that it would service in the country fresh reflections on the fall of the 3rd Polish Republic, a fall not due to Poles, but due to peerless people who found allies in the European Union. “In the grip of secret services” truly deserves to be read again in the situation of the 3rd Polish disaster, which Tusk with the pearelians is applying to us.

And a fewer more words of the professor, which sound like a current warning: “Resignation of L and D (resistance and decommunisation) can lead to a desperate situation in which it turns out that power for the top thief is the only chance for Poland!” (p.165). How sarcasm these words are. But the author besides meant another scenario, but it turned out that this “biggest bandit” (yes,

Tusk, of course, does not think about taking the rights, rather the opposite, but only pretends to be sheriff, due to the fact that as Prime Minister he does not even believe in his position. He is only a “superviser” of the herd to annihilate along with the territory, and to lead us to 1 “shepherd” in the EU.

You're gonna let him do that?
