Marcin Perłowski: This task is crucial for the left. We gotta react!
date:10 January 2025 Editor: Anna
Ladies and gentlemen,
The government one more time pushes over the most controversial draft laws at a time erstwhile Poles have "heads occupied" preparing for Christmas.
The vote that took place on December 20 passed without much echo. This means that:
1. the method quoted is inactive effective;
2. The public is unaware of the consequences of implementing this law.
What am I writing about?
Of course, about a bill prohibiting the alleged hatred speech.

Just before Christmas, the task introducing censorship and persecution in Poland for telling the fact about sex ideology and LGBT activists was not rejected and went to further work in the committee.
If the legislative process ends with the adoption and signature of this bill, we will go back in time before 1989 to find a planet not so much in socialist, but gender-homo-brown terror!
This task introduces penalties for utilizing “the speech of hatred”. How do his originator describe this phenomenon?
The speech of hatred is all forms of expression that instigate, promote, advance or justify violence, hatred, or discrimination against a individual or a group of persons or slander them due to their actual or assigned individual characteristics or status, specified as race, skin color, language, religion, nationality, national or cultural origin, age, disability, gender, sex identity and sexual orientation," said the typical of Deputy Minister Arkadiusz Myrcha of KO.
It seems innocent at first glance. But as it happens, the devil is in the details and... in the gates that will open that definition.
For, according to the project, the expression of “the speech of hatred” may be the writing of hateful slogans of the kind “Jews to Gas” and, on the another hand, it is possible to draw to the “talk of hatred” the message that... “marriage is only a union of women and men”!
I have consciously utilized this example, due to the fact that the issue of the protection of those persecuted for sexual orientation is simply a recurring subject in the debate around the project. It seems that these people will be the biggest beneficiaries of this bill.
I would like to apologize very much for the harm you suffered from the Polish state (...) – specified words were addressed to LGBT movements by Deputy Minister of Justice Krzysztof Śmiszek in January last year.
He was told by the Minister of Education, Catherine Kotula:
People from the LGBT community were dehumanized, accused of pedophile acts. The water of this hate, this speech of hatred was available in the net space, in public space, and even worse from the right hand side there were no inhibitions. We gotta halt this and say halt talking hate!
But let us not be deceived by the phrase about harm and protection. This law is about a fundamental issue that prevents the left and liberals from fulfilling their extremist social demands.
The anticipation of telling the truth.
Because accepting this task means imposing a gag on all people and organizations who stand up for life, marriage, family, children and youth against the ideologists of sex and LGBT environments.
That is why it is essential for the left to push this task forward.
Non-governmental organisations acting in favour of LGBT plus obliged parliamentarians and parliamentarians after winning the election to fight for this bill to be passed first – before we talk about partnerships or matrimony equality – Minister Kotula informed
As you can see, the introduction of this task will prevent opposition to the planned assassination of the identity of the marriage, torpedoes actions against sexeducation in schools and will be a whip against life and household defenders on many another issues.
Therefore, at this point, we must stand together against this brutal attack on freedom of speech!
The introduction of this bill is simply a return to the worst censorship of communist times. This time, however, socialism will replace LGBT rights. As all critics of the erstwhile strategy were silenced, household defenders will be silenced.
And as in the newspapers, possibly shortly a sign will appear on the websites [– – – –]. It meant that in a given place there was a text that painfully reconciled the foundations of the communist strategy and was removed from the issue by the censor.
And the censors, even though the bill has not yet been adopted by the Sejm, are prepared by Adam Bodnar. Last June, he set up a squad to prepare and punish "systemic, comprehensive and detailed strategies against specified behaviours (i.e., hatred speech >>)". In addition, it is to make guidelines and prepare training for prosecutors, judges and police.
The selection of experts from the squad is not surprising. It was headed by Dr. Aleksandra Gliszczyńska-Grabas, who indicated in 1 of the interviews that a group whose law does not presently defend against insults are LGBTQ+ environments, and this needs to be changed. Its deputy is Prosecutor Maciej Młynarczyk, who “beknownst” with exceptional zeal in pursuing the organizers of the independency March and those who dare to disrupt Polish-Ukrainian relations through flagism criticism.
We do not know how large the scope of censorship defined by them in the framework of "good practices and recommendations". We know that we can find ourselves in a situation where "hateful" films about the identity of matrimony and family, or about the actual roots of sexual education specified as our "It's nothing" can rapidly vanish from the net and become modern "spoons". This was referred to as works whose dissemination was blocked by communist preventive censorship and which were sentenced to long-standing lag on retention shelves.
But it is not the essence of the problem that films and articles, which are frequently a good tool for presenting background events or for conducting interesting arguments, will disappear. The essences are punishments—including prison—for creators who dared to rise criticism or present a different viewpoint than sex ideologists!
We predicted this turn of events last year. Then, while preparing for an even faster implementation of specified a project, we launched the petition "Stop the dictatorship of minorities!" signed on the StopDyktaturze.pl website.
We are ready to bring this number of signatures to president Andrzej Duda as shortly as it reaches his desk in the course of the legislative process. But I know that the more there are, the greater the chances of a presidential veto.
Thank you very much to those of you who have signed their signatures and those who have not yet done so – I am asking you very much.
Another challenge is an effective information campaign. Many Poles simply do not realise the harmfulness of specified a project.
For defenders of the identity of matrimony and household specified as you and I, it will de facto be a gag and a serious obstacle to effective activity. due to the fact that it will be very easy to study on us and execute us, for example, for opposition to teaching our children about LGBT environments during the alleged wellness education classes.
But it will besides be a burden for entrepreneurs who can be dragged after courts if they do not choose to introduce sex policy in their company or even refuse to hire a individual with alleged another sexual preferences.
This may be a concrete cross for priests who will proclaim the fact about matrimony and remind of sins against the sixth commandment. Will the law then stand by them to defend spiritual freedom? I don't think so – let's remember “under whom” this bill is written.
Finally, I already see a closed online account and a suit for the creator of a comic meme that offended any oversensitive...
I realize that specified situations are already happening in Poland! – as evidenced loudly by the cases of a erstwhile worker of the Swedish furniture company, as well as Fr Oko or Fr Guz. But what is coming means the introduction of a digital censorship machine, a proverbial "closure of the system".
Therefore, I ask you very much to support our action on this matter. At this point we are focusing on promoting this petition together with the information run on the harmfulness of this law. We want as many Poles to know about this ideological decision of the rulers as possible, and to supply them with as many arguments as possible to discuss and encourage them to argue specified movements.
As you well know, online promotion is very expensive, the more the temau, which can be “top-down” limited by various services. A good example may be to inform about the fresh anti-pornographic campaign, for which we spent more than PLN 10,000, but as a consequence it translated into final success.
Therefore, I ask you very much to support our actions concerning the blocking of the alleged hatred speech act amounts to PLN 50, PLN 100, PLN 200 or PLN 500 and more. Let us not let ourselves be taken distant from free speech and the right to defend our families!
Finally, for the left and liberals, it is crucial to push this bill at this point.
That is why we must argue the proposed solutions at this point!
I very much ask you to be active through financial support, as well as by informing others, even if it is by sending this message to your loved ones and friends.
Only working together will bring good results!
Greetings.
