Ladies and gentlemen,
The Men's Way of the Cross behind Life, in which hundreds of men from Warsaw and the surrounding area took in, led me to reflect on... valor and manhood. Let me start by quoting respective articles.
Toxic masculinity – how masculinity obsession affects boys and men
"I haven't met any specifics, there's just a bottom." Young Polish people complain about men. possibly they request besides much.
Modern men: They cry, but they miss the cause
This is just a tiny example of how manhood is culturally perceived today.
Toxic masculinity and obsession with masculinity immediately indicate that masculinity is dangerous, dangerous and from the ground of evil. At the same time, 2 further titles lead us to the fact that contemporary men are useless and do not meet the requirements of women, and what is more – they cannot decide themselves who they are or what they want.
This is the image that the media are eager to propose present – especially the left-wing ones – and I think it is not an accidental action.
Social expectations of men have undergone tremendous changes in fresh decades. In fact, they have turned 180 degrees, and what utilized to be an asset present is almost a crime.
Features traditionally considered to be typically male, specified as strength, affluence, decision-making, leadership are considered to be ‘toxic’ and non-matching to the planet in which the ‘matrianchat’ is to reign. So what's a modern man expected to be?
Modern man accepts equality, partnership, and manhood does not mean dominance, but cooperation and democracy. In addition, not only male but besides female qualities are emphasized. Among the fresh model of masculinity are besides features specified as: consumption attitude, preference for pleasance ethics, not work ethics, narcissistic personality and care for your own body – described in the portal “Beautiful Bay”, scientist and sexologist Ewa Ciesielska.
You can get the impression that the main thing is that a man is expected to be weak. And not even in a physical context: it's just expected to be tiny, hedonistic, selfish, and irresponsible.
However, you may ask: what would be the intent of this? What intent could left-wing environments gotta build specified an ethos of manhood?
You may know the saying “Fish breaks from the head’? Let me paraphrase it a small to illustrate this objective: The household besides breaks down from the head.
To bring about a crisis of masculinity – and I don't think anyone has any uncertainty that this phenomenon is what we are dealing with – the demolition of the image of a man in culture and in society, is an action aimed straight at the family.
Let me give you any data:
- only 19% of young men who were raised without a father graduated from college;
- similarly, 19% of respondents who had no contact with their biological father did not find a permanent occupation until the age of 29.
- as many as 31% of young men from single-parent families were arrested and 21% were in prison before the age of 20.
Of course, it is data from investigation conducted in the USA, but besides Polish investigation leads to akin conclusions: raising in the full household is the best safeguard against educational problems, intellectual problems, addictions and engagement in hazard behaviour or crime. Moreover, the full household works much better in this respect than cultural origin, education or social support from the state.
A culture in which fathers are not present in the lives of children is therefore, from the point of view of the full society, highly unfavourable.
And yet this culture is what current trends are building!
Men, boys who just form their characters, get a clear signal: you can't be a man! A man strong, determined, active, and implicated is no longer an outdated, out-of-date pattern.
I do not gotta convince you that building the future on specified an educational foundation is building on sand.
The leftist environments, which, as you are well aware, enjoy the support of the top media, lead us straight to disaster: the society of the "Peters of the Lords", eternal boys, incapable to take on any work and escape as shortly as difficulties arise.
It's going to sound paradoxical, but for them, a manhood crisis is... the best recipe for a womanhood crisis, a household upbringing crisis and destruction!
And you may be wondering at this point whether this can be addressed. Seeing this immense problem, are we able to present any another pattern to men? Show a good alternative?
Yes – and I will remind you that the Center for Life and household has been doing this for respective years.
The likeness of a man is Saint Joseph, whose liturgical celebration will be celebrated in a fewer days. It is simply a character embodying all those qualities that are so systematically weakened present and that are trying to exterminate, while at the same time 1 that cannot be denied “toxicity”. St. Joseph, accepting his vocation to be the earthly guardian of Jesus and the husband of Our Lady, demonstrated responsibility, resilience in the face of difficulties and actual male strength – not aggression, but strength of character. Moreover, it is the embodiment of the ethos of work, so frequently exchanged present for the ethos of pleasure. He is far from selfish and same - centered.
We have brought this saint closer to Poles for respective years, due to the fact that although his cult is rather widespread in us, we frequently see him as a patron of professional affairs or as a advocate in the search for a good husband. But it is worth looking at Joseph from another direction.
The Center of Life and household began the run “Father's Day anew” in 2021, in which we advocated the establishment of the celebrations of Father's Day on the day of the remembrance of Saint Joseph, or March 19. Thus we wanted to present this large saint as the patron saint of fathers and a man who may be a fresh model of manhood. The best example – not only for today. The run was of large interest to our Friends, we collected over 74,000 signatures, and our appeal came to the hands of then Marshal of the Sejm Elizabeth Witek. We have received assurances from politicians that the substance is on the right track, and the chances that the Sejm will adopt the appropriate resolution are considerable.
But everything changed with... the upcoming election. First, our appeal unexpectedly slowed down, and the politicians supporting this initiative as if they had put water on their mouths. And we were right – in September we received an authoritative document, signed by Deputy Marshal Włodzimierz Czarzaste, informing us that the petition work had been completed and that it would not be continued. Of course, it was a very disappointing decision... But it is logical: Saint Joseph is definitely not in the hands of many politicians: both the left-wing ones, but besides the ones representing the middle. After all, they advance or agree to abortion, the pill “day after”, the partnership – everything that allows men to escape from obligations and responsibility. How would they at the same time point out as their patron saint, who shows that the attitude of work and sacrifice for others is the most important?
But we, despite our failure, are not going to give up! Promoting true, conventional manhood and liable and committed fatherhood is inactive 1 of the key tasks in a society in which the generation of eternal boys has already made themselves comfortable. We support men's initiatives, and we unite forces with men's movements and communities. We have common priorities, and together we are gaining a much more powerful force.
The Men's Way of the Cross behind Life, which passed through the streets of Warsaw and Krakow, is an example of specified initiatives that bear witness that modern man does not should be a small, hedonist boy. He does not request to bow down to the screams of feminists, which require men only to silence and humble them with their expected “rights”, from which, of course, the “right” to kill children in their wombs is supreme.
I thank all of you, especially the Lords, who have joined our common prayer. Thank you for showing that life defence is simply a substance of men and their life calling!

We cannot let the next generations of “Peters of the Lords” to enter adulthood, focused on themselves and incapable to take work for others. It is simply a crisis not only of manhood, but of society as a whole, due to the fact that little powerful men are besides little stable, permanent marriages, more broken families, children without fathers. It is more of a life lost as a consequence of abortion, due to the fact that very frequently it is an irresponsible, immature man who is behind the mother's final decision to kill the child.
Being a man is simply a large task and a wonderful vocation!
