Marcin Drewicz: centenary (1926-2026) of the May bombing, the road to Zaleszczyk
It is not until 4 months – 12-14 May – but at least now it is worth mentioning it, so that erstwhile it comes, the general public should not miss out on how Poland has been missed – any indeed by glare and others “on command” – the centenary of events forming the present times, including the past Stulet, as in peculiar the Bolshewick Revolution (1917), the restoration of independency by Poland (1918), the Versailles Treaty (1919) and above all the Miracle of the Vistula (1920); and for countries extending south of Poland the Treaty in Trianon (1920).
We look forward, ah, to, as it is said, "modern" and based besides on "unknown sources" in a long-standing effort to make a broad monograph of the subject of the May bombing, in a hard setting, in the B5 format, many hundred-page, possibly more than one-volume, answering as many questions as possible (but individual "all" answered?), by 1 of these employed academic historians, or possibly a squad of historians.
We compose “academic studies” due to the fact that even the best non-statutory and non-academic ones – who must keep themselves and their household from another activities – there is simply, in today's Poland (!), neither the time nor the resources essential to execute this kind of work. After all, it is essential to sit in libraries and archives not only Polish, but besides in many another countries, not only neighbouring ones, but besides those located further, even overseas-ocean ones. It goes on, it costs, it causes separation from family... Who's gonna pay for this? Since “the individual is worthy of his wages.”
In 1926, why did the so - called service not give announcement of preparations for the assassination to strangle him in the embryo?
How did those rebellious troops get to the left bank of the Vistula River in Warsaw?
Why have the highest authorities of the Republic of Poland given up the will of the assassins so lightly and quickly?
Why have the troops that are going to aid these authorities, having traveled hundreds of miles, been stuck unproductively somewhere on the outskirts of Warsaw?
And so on... And so on... Yes, yes, the political strategy of the “Premajowa” Poland (1918-1926) was bad, but the political strategy of the “Pomajowa” Poland (1926-1939-1945) was bad besides – “Nicodem Dyzma’s career” – and abroad policy was terrible (!). How do we know she was like that? Fruit. Scary, truly, terrifying... collected from 1939 to 1945 and long, long later.
The origin survey would supply an answer to the question of whether that policy, the alleged policy of Joseph Beck (the younger one), could indeed be called ‘Polish policy’. If not Polish, then whose?
Yes, “Polish policy and reconstruction of the state” – says the title of the celebrated book of the celebrated author (Roman Dmowski). All this in the book described “Polish politics” ended in fact somewhere before The Treaty of Riga (1921). And then...
Paradoxically, the answers to questions about "Polish policy", but in relation to our present-day, after a 100 years (2026), are drawn or not more clearly, than in relation to the time before three-four generations. due to the fact that it would seem that common cognition of a given event grows as the time passes since that event. seemingly not all event, which is besides about this May bombing.
And the measurement and image of these shortcomings should be the celebrated road to Zaleszczyk from September 1939. It is worth remembering that a akin function was played by the border crossing in the same (neighborly) Kutach region, although it is precisely the lost slogan of Zaleszczyka that brings together the full fear of the time.
Nota bene – today, too, since alien invaders from these and from how many another peaceful areas of the present Ukrainian Republic play a function within the borders of present-day Poland, no more than a "victim of war"; thus reprimanding these actual victims of the actual war, however, a 1000 kilometers from there.
About the 1926 May bombing, as they say, “we know nothing.” Is this inactive a feature movie directed by Ryszard Filipski (1980) in the Polish censorship strategy giving us full view of the alleged panorama of events and could it then give it to us? Does it give us a wide panorama of this someway breaking the same post-PRL (!) silence of the feature paper entitled "Forgotten General" (2012) – about the individual of General Tadeusz Jordan Rozwadowski? The forgotten general... But the function of Józef Piłsudski has already been played in various films and series most likely from 15 (?) actors.
Is, if so, what kind of media-film production for a wide scope of audiences about the May bombing in the current anniversary year 2026?
The division of Poland into “two camps” – those that clashed in specified a short Warsaw war in May 1926; and those today, too, or as 1 prefers “two in one” (PO-PiS). The division of any country and the resulting bloody or bloodless civilian war—these are things in the past of the native and universal. In Spain, for example, the full century (!) was counting from the (first) exile of the Jesuits in the 1970s. The 18th century worked for this powerful explosion, the Revolution and the planet War of the 1930s. 20th century.
The division, or to teardrop a nation apart due to the actions of usually 2 perpetrators – external and internal. The same was actual with the partitions of Poland in the second half of the 18th century. But – what to wrap around in cotton – likewise happens in our era not only with the peoples, but besides with... the Holy Roman Catholic Church.
Let us go back to Poland before the 100 Years and ask about these deepest bases of division then, in May 1926 so clearly revealed (but besides earlier – among others, the close majority government of Korfanty!). Revealed – so no longer hidden, erstwhile they fight and shoot each other. Have the participants and witnesses of these events, and subsequent generations of historians, besides emigration (“London”, “Paris” and others) answered the question of division in the people clearly and without any rest?
The divided did not come “from yesterday”. Was it only at the beginning of the 20th century, or was it in the January age? Or before? Are you already in the Napoleonic Age (sic!)? Or before? Who was on whose side was consciously and same - calculatingly? And who would say so, inertial, customary? So did a large part of the Poles of those and later generations suffer, fight, and die for their real cause?
Whose affairs, in so many wars, all his life and against whom did Sienkiewicz’s celebrated “Latarnik” fight? But besides “on the another side” (to what degree “on the another side”?) – as shown in the movie “One Man’s Hero” (1999) about the branch “Patricios” (Irish volunteers from St Partyk) from the U.S. War against Mexico 1846-1848 – can be heard in the first soundtrack besides sentences in the language... Polish and even in that language... words of prayer (sic!).
We're asking about the times before the Hundreds and the old ones. But did individual in the same – see above – a thorough origin of monograph, this time from the field of political science-history of the latest, besides explain these deepest causes of failure to accomplish this "solidarity" in 2005 – it was said at the time – the government of the PO-PiS? Government so long and loudly announced and expected by all then Polish-language mass media. Regular people would look at the tv and perceive to it, then...! Well... what exactly? The fact that Poland was a associate of the European Union recently. So why does she request the alleged Warsaw government?
How much has happened since then! There is no “end of history” there... So is this "political-party main division" in Poland, yes, "circular one", so besides the last 20 years is... artificial, how persistent (!) is elevated by "international" forces? For this division before the 100 Years, from 1926, was most likely not artificial.
A fewer years later, even before the outbreak of the planet War Jędrzej Giertych under the pseudonym J. Mariański appeared with a political-fiction fresh called "The Bomb" (1938), in which he was besides inspired by the atmosphere and events of Warsaw from May 1926 – so 1 has already happened "in real life", it brought about certain consequences, and the horror of another akin event, as they say, was in the air.
So, if today's division between the biggest political parties in Poland is artificial, what are these activists fighting for in fact among themselves “from both solidarity camps”, the unfortunate Homeland, placing as a hostage of this mindless dispute (sic!)? How about just money and influence from abroad global patrons? Or is it just about what the parties to the dispute in Mickiewicz’s “Pan Tadeusz” fought for? Is there anything else? After all, not Polish, but abroad and even anti-Polish affairs hung over all this Soplice. Isn't it?
"Landscape after feast" (1978) – Jacek Kaczmarski sang his poetic description of that period in Polish history. Here was so much lofty talk and recitation, but as a result, “they” did not do this, that or that. At least they could! They acted, but in the incorrect directions. As a result, they did nothing and brought their homeland down. But... why? How did this happen, and what fact was there that “the men were active”? And what are the actives... today?
"Under the false flag", putting individual "in the left sledge" as they say today, so provocations, political hoaxes, media – well known from the times of the Polish People's Republic – distorting mass messages about even the most common aspects of the surrounding reality ("black is white, and white is black), so leading them into the field, into the astray, catching on to this "catch" of further people and groups motivated by pure Polish patriotism, albeit incorrectly... gapidae (sic!), making them inefficient (sic!) for the Polish Cause.
And it is best that specified grumpy (sic!) patriots... swam, with Sarmatian enthusiasm and animus, preferably in front of cameras "in the period of the top viewing".
So, then, in specified “circumstances of Nature” will we yet learn at the Hundredth Anniversary of the Events, as they say, the full fact about the May bombing of 1926?
One more thing: any 20 years ago, a gentleman at the age of around the 1940s kindly but powerfully reproved the company that his daddy (!) had said to him that, namely, it is not appropriate to say "Mayian coup", but "Mayian coup" (sic!). Let us besides admit that the Polish language is rich, so it is subject to various procedures – like this 1 –.
And let us note that the concept of "Return" which translates straight into the Latin origin of the "Revolution" turns out to be weaker, despite everything – or possibly only in these circumstantial circumstances "the wisdom of the stage"? – from the appearance of the common "Effle".
For that man was afraid about making the impression among the interlocutors that the attack (Reversal) of May was nothing dangerous, but if only an innocent political “in the family” play along the line of the well-known – nomen-omen – besides Mickiewicz's call: “Let us love each other!”.
In the free atmosphere of the vacation chat at the table or possibly at the campfire the attention made by that gentleman was immediately released in spite of the ears, but after a while, 1 of the present people mime and declared that he would, however, stay in the name of the “Thump” and that – vice versa – he and his (unpresent) father (sic!) encouraged specified a naming. It was there and then that caused, not besides long, consternation. What do you think of all this?
We are reminded of something else – there are many things – although here we will no longer make this topic. This is after the May bombing in the Revival Polish Army, the only 1 in past (which only after many decades could be stated) the winners over the godless Red Army, changed... regimental banners (sic!). So was the army now "without God" on the banner able – erstwhile it came to it – to repel this terrible bilateral invasion of the then ungodly world's top powers?
We besides recommend: Scandal negligence of the OMZRiK. The bailiff seized her account.
