In Poland there is simply a chapter of the Church from the state. Public authorities should not interfere in the interior affairs of the Church and the Church should not influence state decisions. But does that mean that a politician cannot be a believer? possibly many will even say he should. How, then, should the religion of a politician, a individual in office, or a individual seeking advanced positions manifest itself?

During the Holy Mass celebrated in the monthly Smolensk tragedy, during the homily, 1 of the priests told the following story. In the mediate of the week, in the mediate of the day, he went to the office of the Baby Jesus Parish in Warsaw Żoliborz. To enter the firm, you had to pass through the church. Entering an empty church, he saw a man kneeling before the Blessed Sacrament. The man was sunk in Prayer. erstwhile he left the firm, he could look at this man for a while. It was Lech Kaczyński.
Lech Wałęsa wore the image of Our woman in his coat flap. He thus manifests his religion publicly. This did not prevent him from reporting to his colleagues, denying his cooperation with the safety Service. This did not prevent him from taking actions unworthy of the Office of the president of Poland, but above all unworthy of the believer.
In the election to the Sejm in 2023, the PJJ group of Rafał Piech was running. Closers of Piech preached that Our woman asked him to run. Rafał Piech, holding the office of president Siemianowice, referred in all speech to the question of faith, as an overriding substance and setting out its political path. This did not prevent him from hiring in subordinate local companies presidents of another cities, in exchange for intra-financially analogous jobs for himself and his wife. Putting his group in elections to the Sejm, he effectively crashed the right-wing electorate, contributing to Tusk's taking over. In a reprehensible way, referring to the Old Testament, he declared to everyone that God utilized his group to let the Gentiles to regulation in Poland so that they would be a whip for the Polish Nation.
Grzegorz Braun starts all his meetings, especially those in front of the cameras, with the words "God’s HappinessIt’s okay. ” How many sincere wishes for God to give a welcome individual happiness, and how many calculated political plays to attract a Catholic electorate? «You will know them by their fruits.» [Matthew 7,16]. For words do not substance but deeds.
«Beware that you do not do godly works before men so that they may see you» [Matthew 6,1]. religion in a policy that seeks different positions cannot be part of an election campaign. A politician may or should entrust his decisions to God, but he cannot make God a associate of his election committee.
Poland needs believing politicians, we Poles request specified testimonies as those mentioned at the outset of this column. But let us beware of false prophets who take their religion into banners to gain political support. If they do this consciously, deliberately, they sin against the second commandment: “Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vainIt’s okay. ”
