In Poland democracy concerns only elections. There is authoritarianism between the elections. Authoritarianism is: “a political strategy in which an individual or a narrow group exercises power, where key decisions are made without public participation and the opposition is marginalisedIt’s okay. ” At local government level, citizens can effort to cancel the ruling, but administratively imposed attendance thresholds make it very hard and frequently impossible. The majority of those who are absent, i.e. those who have not taken part in the appeal referendum, decide. At central authority level, the Sejm, the Senate, the President, there is no anticipation at all. Citizens have no appeal tool. They can only anticipate a associate to resign himself or the full parliament to resolve itself. Not gonna happen.

Referendal democracy is “a variety of direct democracy in which citizens have a decisive voice in state or local matters through a general vote (reference). alternatively of relying solely on elected representatives, society itself rejects or approves circumstantial government or policiesIt’s okay. ” Isn't that an attractive proposal? And attractive to all voters? In referendum democracy, it is not essential to worry whether the elected politician, on the right or left side of the political scene, will keep his word, keep his promises in the campaign. On key issues for you, citizens will always decide, not politicians representing them.
This is what the "Yes to Citizens" initiative is for:
The aim of the action is to bring about a referendum in which citizens will answer a fewer questions, the key question for referendum democracy being: "Are you in favour of abolishing the attendance request for the binding power of a national referendum and the validity of a local referendum?"
In order for this referendum, which contains the above question to take place, the Parliament's consent will be needed in addition to the collection of 500,000 signatures. Therefore, the number of signatures required by the current law cannot be limited to that. You gotta put force on the Sejm, you gotta collect a fewer million signatures. Signatures of all citizens, all above divisions. Signatures of those who have right-wing views, and those who have left-liberal views. It may be the unification of divided Poland, the unification of divided Poles, the unification around the thought of referendum democracy, in which the key issues for the country are decided not by politicians and citizens.
