Marcin Bogdan: PiS is wild, PiS is bad

Why did the Law and Justice with Jarosław Kaczyński become public enemy number 1 for Polish and European lefts? The essence of the case was perfectly given by Jarosław Marek Rymkiewicz in a celebrated interview given in 2009 for the supplement “Plus-Minus” in the diary “Rzeczpospolita”. Commentators immediately raised the alarm that it is simply a private company, whose president is the prominent PO activist Paweł Ponciliusz. So it's clear that alternatively of caring for the country's real security, the government is going to give money from a debt drawn to its guys. And that's where the real bomb went off. The government revealed that it could not do otherwise, that it had its hands tied, as it was the erstwhile government, that the government of PiS selected the Polish Ammunition company to carry out investments in the construction of Polish ammunition production capacity 155 mm under the National Ammunition Reserve program. It was the Law and Justice government that approved the program, and the coalition only criminally implements it on 13 December. And indeed, that is the truth, it was the government of PiS that selected the Polish Ammunition company to carry out specified tasks. This is simply a clear signal to the voters of this party. Whether it's an incompetence mistake or a deliberate action. Clearly, PiS and PO are 1 evil.

Who would go into the details? But let us take a closer look. At the time of the government's designation of the Law and Justice, Poland Ammunition to implement the National Ammunition Reserve programme was a majority shareholder of the company (51%), a state-owned Industrial improvement Agency, i.e. a company belonging to 100% of the State Treasury. In September 2024, or 10 months after the coalition took power on 13 December, the State Industrial improvement Agency sold its shares to private investors. A fewer months later, in February 2025 the composition of the fresh board was published in the KRS, whose president was PO politician Paweł Poncylius. Yeah, it's the same company that the PiS government indicated, but the owner of the company changed. Just a small detail. Who will pay attention to that?

There's a second phase of the PiS's disrepair.
