The first manager of the Institute was Dr Wojciech Kozłowski, who was replaced by prof. Magdalena Gavin in 2022. On her initiative, the Institute launched the task “Called by name”, commemorating people murdered by the Germans for helping Jews during the occupation. This is just 1 example from a wide scope of valuable initiatives of the Institute, telling the planet about the experiences of Poles in the 20th century, presenting the Polish position of fresh history. After the coalition took power on 13 December, prof. Magdalena Gavin was recalled from her position, and in her place, Krzysztof Ruchniewicz was appointed manager of the Pilecki Institute.
Krzysztof Ruchniewicz is simply a titular prof. who has in his life the following functions:
- Member of the technological Council Stiftung Bayerische Gedenkstätten
- Member of the technological Council Historisch-Technisches Museum Peenemünde GmbH
- Member of Stiftung Kulturwerk Schlesien
- Member Verband der Historiker und Historikerinnen Deutschlands
- Member of the technological Council Willy-Brandt-Stiftung in Berlin
- Member of the technological Council Hannah-Arendt-Institut in Dresden
The list of functions performed by Ruchniewicz at German universities and in German institutes is long, it is simply a waste of space and time to list them all here. Is it contrary to the function of manager of the Pilecki Institute? It should not be contradictory, but science, unlike capital, has no nationality. It is. There was neither a period nor a week for information to appear about the new, surprising, controversial initiatives of the Institute led by Ruchniewicz. Among another things, a conference on the return of works of art robbed by Germans was cancelled, because, as Ruchniewicz argued, the conference would "uncomfortable"for the German side. The apogee of these activities was the announcement of a seminar held by the Pilecki Institute "devoted to the return of cultural goods by Poland to Germany, Ukraine, Belarus, Latvia and private property belonging to judaic people". Hanna Radziejowska, head of the Pilecki Institute in Berlin, informed about this. She informed but not the public, only the Minister of Culture Marta Cieńkowska and the charge d'affaires of the Polish embassy in Berlin Jan Tombiński. She informed in confidential mode, or more specifically, in the mode of the Signalling Protection Act. The Act on the Protection of Signallers was passed on 14 June 2024. The Act guarantees legal protection from the minute of notification. Under the Act, the identity of the signaler must be protected, and the regulations prohibit any form of retaliation, including dismissal or even degradation, transfer to another position.
How did the Polish state under Tusk defend signalman Hanna Radziejowska? She wrote a secret note to her supervisor, manager Ruchniewicz, who immediately threw her out of work and confidential information went to the media. erstwhile you read this, you will think that it is simply a scandal, that it is outrageous. It's just the beginning. Krzysztof Ruchniewicz felt that the position of the head of the branch of the Pilecki Institute in Berlin was very crucial for the current Polish-German relations and that there could be no vacate on it. So he entrusted Dr. Joannie Kiliszek with the duties of branch manager. Joanna Kiliszek is an alderman in Schönwalde-Gien close Berlin. She obtained a mandate from the Alliance90/Green Party. Joanna Kiliszek is an active German politician! ActiveGerman politician is to form Polish historical policyin relations with Germany and the German State. I don't understand. Just to be clear, I am not prohibiting Mrs. Kiliszek from doing a career in German politics, she may be a councillor of German self-government, she may be an MP to the Bundestag, she may even be Chancellor of Germany. But he cannot hold positions in Polish state institutions, in the administration of the Polish state. Free and sovereign Polish state. Unless it is no longer a free and sovereign Polish state, only General Gubernia, Polnische Land.
Many people regret that during talks in Washington about ending the war in Ukraine there was no Polish representative. And were there representatives of Bavaria, Brandenburg, Saxony, Baden-Wirtembergiand, Hessen or another German national states? Then why would he be Gauleiter General politician Donald Tusk? We were represented by Reich Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
Finally, I gotta mention to the initiative of Krzysztof Ruchniewicz, the initiative to return German cultural goods which were in Polish hands as a consequence of planet War II. Yes, I must admit, my household is in possession of specified goods. These are 2 rounds. 1 that the Germans killed in 1940 my birth uncle Antka, my mother's brother. And the second 1 the Germans killed in 1944 my grandpa John, my mother's father. possibly it's time to return it. Without delay. I'm explaining to you that there's no misunderstandings, the word "dead" means: no delays, quickly. I can return them as shortly as they got to my family. possibly it's time to return the goods of German culture.
If 1 of the readers is besides in possession of akin German "goods" from the planet War II period, delight study this to Solidarnych2010, the email address of the editorial [email protected]. Yeah, let's be solid. If we all make specified a symbolic phrase, these German "good" will cover the memorial stone which Germany has given us as compensation. In the face of the vast amount of “goods” recovered by the Germans, the memorial stone will be like a grain of sand, like pollen in space. Like a remorse. Gewissensbisse.
Mr Bogdan
