In Słubice there is simply a controversial march under the motto "Stop the flood of Poland with migrants by Germany", organized by the Rota March of independency Association. Despite the ban on local authorities, protesters found a way to carry out a demonstration that brought together both supporters and the attention of the law enforcement services on both sides of the border.

Protest despite ban: Organizers do not resign
Despite the decision of Mayor Słubic, Marzeny Słodownik, to ban the organization of the protest, the initiators found a way to carry it out. They utilized a notification procedure that does not require the approval of the authorities. Demonstration takes place in a limited form, meaning that it should not origin traffic disruption. The protest began at 12:00 p.m. close the border crossing point in Słubice, in the area of Ronda Solidarity and 1 Maja Street.
The organisers referred the case to court, nevertheless the Gorzów territory Court did not consider their appeal due to formal deficiencies. – We called on a proxy to complete the application, but it did not supply the required papers within the time limit, so the court decided to return it – the spokesperson for the Gorzów court, justice Roman Makowski, informed.
Paweł Kryszczak, national coordinator of the Rot March of Independence, claims, however, that all papers were correct and that the court failed to comply with the work to consider the case within 24 hours. “We waited for a decision for 3 days, and we only had 2.5 hours to complete the proposal,” he said. He besides announced a complaint to the court.
Simplified notification procedure
Regardless of legal action, the organizers protested to the Lubuskie Voivodeship Office in a simplified manner. “No consent is required for specified a meeting, just a notification is enough. However, there are any restrictions, e.g. participants cannot block movement or enter the road," explained Roman Filończuk of the Bureau of Emergency consequence at the Municipal Office in Słubice.
