The debate on the MPs' draft amendments to the Law on Arms and Ammunition took place last Friday in the Sejm. The draft, which was prepared by MPs of Poland 2050, envisages imposing an work on persons up to 70 years of age, who hold weapon permits for hunting, sporting and training purposes, to undergo periodic medical and intellectual examinations confirming all 5 years that they meet the wellness criteria for weapon ownership. The draft besides provides for an increase in the frequency of these examinations for those over 70, introducing the rule of repeating them all 2 years.
