The Polish pension strategy provides for a minimum insurance period to be required to get the right to receive a pension in the guaranteed minimum amount. Currently, in order to get a minimum pension of PLN 1871.92 gross, women gotta paper at least 20 years of contribution and non-contributory periods, while men gotta paper at least 25 years of specified traineeship.
