Grzegorz Braun entered the infirmary in Oleśnica, where legal abortion procedures are performed. On the spot, he imprisoned a doctor in his office who, as he claimed, discontinued her pregnancy in Week 36. He described his act as "citizen detention," preceded by prayer for unborn children. Magdalena Biejat, a candidate of the Left for president, called on the government to react. In an interview with the media, she stated: Braun should go to prison.
